I don't know how birds can be so smart when they have such a small brain. but they seem to use deductive reasoning.
You're not supposed to keep a small parakee or lovebird in a small hamster cage like that..They need a bigger cage w/ a swing, perches, a mirror , food and water containers…… A cuddle bone to grind down their beak
