Every once in a while someone looses their mind. Don chose to bring 10 birds into the “studio” and record Cockatude while talking about training. With three cameras going and a studio microphone set up like cell towers, it was an unusual session. Surprisingly, even with birds flying around the room like helicopters that lost their rear props, he does manange to pass on some helpful tips. Maybe just showing that it is possible to be in a room filled with cockatoos and still talk almost coherently for the better part of an hour is a lesson in itself. It was for him! There is a section in which he trains Roman to shake his finger on the cue “shake.” Let us know what you think of his choice to “raise the bar” and fill the room with birds!

I discovered you and your family today. How beautiful! What a beautiful person you are and your birds are gorgeous. I love them but could never have one. I know nothing about raising birds so I would be a terrible bird owner. I have beagles and some people don’t like them because they are loud, I’m sure you can appreciate that! Hahaha. I think you are amazing.

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO MAKES SENSE!!!! Don broke it down for me so I could understand. I have Goffin Cockatoo that that is so smart. He went from a sweet heart of a bird to attacking me. I brought him in my home for life. I thought I did everything right. I watched so many other vids, this is the first time, I feel hope for me and my daughter. This bird has so much personality that he would blow up social media. I jus want to connect with this bird again. I’m not interested in putting him on Utube jus want to know how to deal with him!!!!!!!!

Hey I have a question how do I train my cockatoo bird if he was abused by the previous owner

    • Angelika Blossfeld

Amazing. A room full of cockatoos. I assume they are all rescues and they are all in beautiful feathers.
I have had a rescue Umbrella Cockatoo and although her feathers are much better than when i adopted her she still picks her feathers.
She is on a healthy diet, mash and fresh fruit and vegetables some nuts, organic pellets
I souls like to know what you do to get there feathers to grow back and stop picking feathers.
Thank you for what you do for the Toos. Just subscribed.
