Shawn contacted us this time because after watching tons of our videos on YouTube about freeflight, he thought he had trained his blue and gold macaw Lucia (4 years old) to be ready for freeflight. Wanting confirmation, we headed out to see the results! And although what happened wasn’t what we thought would happen… we plan to help Shawn achieve his goals with Lucia! Hi!! I absolutely adore ur videos and I love how kind you are to ur birds!! I wish that I could be as amazing as you with birds because I am able to purchase a baby, hand raised cockatiel and I was hoping that you could make a video on how to get a parrot to trust you or love being with you! Hiiiii!!!! I have a very big question and that is whether I should get an alexanderine parrot or a Quaker parrot?! I don’t know which one to get, could you make a video on their differences or pls reply to which would be better for me?!
Can you guys do a video explaining what to do if things go south when flying outside? Like when a bird flies up into a tall tree and can’t recognize you that high, and maybe how to work on elevation training if you could call it that.
Good to see,when training the parrot for free flight,that safety of the bird comes first and foremost and ALL things tested out for extreme caution. Wouldn't expect anything less from you guys,you're awesome <3

Does anybody here have any recommendations on where to purchase a macaw? I'm open to adopting an older macaw as well. Too many scams out there, makes me nervous.

I remember when Shawn brought his Grey for a session with you Jamie, and it's really good to see how dedicated he is to give Lucia the gift of free flight. It's good to be a little scared, keeps you alert to the most subtle of changes. He's picked the best teachers and it will be exciting to see how it all goes.
